On the weekend, September 1, the second edition of the workshop took place in the city of Caxias do Sul, located in the southern region of the country.
It was a weekend of discovery, learning and interaction with incredible women.
Women from diverse professional backgrounds, proving that there are no barriers to learning to program.
Mothers and daughters learning to program together and learning a little from this fantastic area that is technology.

While we organized the event we thought of the small details so that each participant felt welcome and motivated to learn, we counted on a team of trainers trained and concerned to help each participant in the best way within their individuality and necessity.
At the end of the workshop the positive fruits were collected, we received many messages of thanks, many requests for a continuation, messages such as:
“The experience was wonderful, enriching and empowering. I am very happy to have come!”
“Very good initiative, good instructors, all good (including snacks). Congratulations.”
“I did not know the Django Girls. But I found the idea incredible and an opportunity to insert women in that environment. Congratulations and gratitude for you provided this moment of learning.”
“People like you make a difference, thank you.!!”

They left us with the feeling of accomplishment and with an immense desire to organize next meetings, next workshops.
In the end, we all teach, we learn something new, we have made new friendships, we would like to congratulate every participant, every coach and organization for the beautiful teamwork.
Everyone had an important role and without you, this incredible experience would not have been possible.

Django Girls is a non-profit that teaches programming to women all around the world. Want to help us? Support us!
