We reached our crowdfunding campaign goal - thanks for supporting us!

We are so excited to announce the results of our crowdfunding campaign to all our supporters. Django Girls Foundation has been fundraising for the last two months through running a crowdfunding campaign via Indiegogo’s Generosity website from the 4th of February to the 29th March 2018. We managed to raise a total of $13,314 from 147 donors!

We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to all our donors and supporters who supported us through donations as well as spreading the word about our campaign. We would also like to thank our new corporate sponsors who helped us reach our target by donating to us through our campaign, that is, WSP Digital and Taiga Agile.

We also appreciate the help from special friends from the developer community, Read the Docs and Encode OSS; who helped us reach our target by running a matching programme for donations for a fixed amount, helping us raise double the money they pledged to us. Thank you for becoming our corporate sponsors this way. We are truly grateful for the support.

We are now in the process of collecting data about t-shirt sizes and colours so that we can order the rewards we promised our donors and send them out. We have sent out emails to all donors who qualified for our Code with Kindness t-shirts asking for their details. If you one of them, we hope you respond to us soonest <3. We hope to have sent out all rewards in about six weeks from now, that is, by end of May.
