Read the Docs joins as Django Girls Global Partner

We are excited to announce Read the Docs joining us a Django Girls global partner!

Read the Docs hosts documentation for the open source community. They joined us as global partner through a matching programme they ran to help us reach our target for our crowdfunding campaign.

We are running a crowdfunding campaign through Indiegogo’s Generosity website here,  with the aim of raising funds to help us cover staff costs and other expenses for the year 2018. We are happy to announce that we managed to surpass our fundraising goal but we are still running the campaign until the 29th of March 2018.

We would like to thank Read The Docs for being generous to us and helping us reach our target by laying aside $1,000 to match donations from the community. How did that work? For every donation that was donated during a certain period of time, Read the Docs would match that by donating the same amount hence doubling the investment. For example, if you gave $10 to our campaign, Read the Docs would also give us another $10 and we get $20.
